Covered in coral, the site has plenty of macro life to observe. It is good for night dives, when crabs and octopus frequently appear. In Dhaalu and Faafu, visibility and manta encounters tend to be better from December to April. Divers who visited Dhaalu in 2022 report that the atoll was little known among divers and that they rarely saw boats from other islands at the sites.
