Wainilu is the muck diving paradise of Komodo National Park, located near Rinca Island — the park's "mini-Lembeh". The shallow, calm sandy slope harbors blue-ringed octopuses, mandarin fish that emerge at dusk, frogfish, snake eels, mimic octopuses and seahorses among mud corals, in stark contrast to the strong current dive sites found elsewhere in the park.
