Maldives
It is a local wooden boat, on Velaa's northern reef, that was turned into an underwater attraction for the resort's divers. As an artificial reef, the hull attracts Giant Trevally and Lionfish. In the northern atolls, the best time to dive usually runs from December to April. From June to September, visibility tends to drop with plankton, and it is common to see many manta rays. In Noonu, visibility is usually great in February and March.
