On the sandy bottom it is easy to see different kinds of rays, and the coral-covered wall has holes where mantis shrimp and groupers hide. Since the site faces the open ocean, sharks and eagle rays also show up. The site has many cleaning stations for manta rays, and at the right time of year you can see mantas. In the Haa Alifu region, the driest months usually run from January to April.
