Turtle Reef off Playa del Carmen, with an extensive 1 km² coral garden between 13 and 35 meters of depth and moderate currents. Hawksbill turtles, eagle rays, barracudas and seasonal bull shark sightings in winter make this reef one of the richest in marine life along the Riviera Maya.
