Tortuga Island is a turtle-shaped volcanic islet south of Puerto Villamil, Isabela, with dives characterized by strong currents and surprising diversity that includes hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, mantas, rays and sea turtles. Gorgonian fans and colorful corals decorate the walls down to 18m depth. A site for experienced divers due to variable currents.
