Tobia Kebir

Tobia Kebir is an isolated reef, with a row of coral towers running southwards. The dive starts from the mooring on the south side and follows the pathway between the reef and the pinnacles. The southern tip of the reef is used for the safety stop.

To the east of the main reef, a small cave is filled with glass fish and hatchet fish. The reef has schooling fish, moray eels, octopuses, stonefish, sand eels, blue-spotted groupers and plenty of lionfish. With luck, tuna or eagle rays appear over the sandy bottom. In summer, dolphins sometimes pass by the reef.
