Maldives
Diving here takes place among the flora and fauna of coral reefs. A resident green turtle, nicknamed "Mrs. Green", has been photographed at Tingadhoo Faru. In 2022, the site was the setting for the morning dive of the PADI Women's Dive Day, which brought together 14 resort hosts and 18 girls and women from the local islands of Laamu Atoll. In Laamu Atoll, the northeast monsoon, from November to April, tends to be the most recommended time to dive, with calmer seas. From May to October, the southwest monsoon tends to bring nutrient-rich waters, which increases the chance of seeing manta rays and sharks in the region.
