Australia
Isolated pinnacle at Ribbon Reef 3, in the northern Great Barrier Reef, famous for a memorial plaque to guide Steve and for dense colonies of gorgonians, soft-coral fans and purple elephant-ear sponges that cover the tower from the top (5 m) to the base (30 m). Schools of batfish, reef sharks and turtles orbit the bommie in moderate currents, making it one of the most photogenic spots in the Ribbon Reefs.
