El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
South wall of Entalula Island in El Nido, with a vertical drop-off from 5 to 35m covered in soft corals, gorgonian fans and whip corals. Reef sharks, marbled rays, turtles and schools of jacks and barracuda patrol the wall, making this one of the most biodiverse dives in El Nido. Moderate currents bring nutrients and concentrate pelagic life on the southern tip of the island.
