Around the island of Siyul Kebira there are four or five different dive spots, with a coral garden and many lagoons. Moray eels, stonefish, scorpionfish and sweetlips are commonly seen there. On a dive in May 2026, schools of fusiliers were seen, along with parrotfish grazing on the coral, an adult emperor angelfish and a pair of Red Sea anemonefish sheltering in an anemone. The best time tends to be the warmer months, from April to October.
