SS Thistlegorm is the world's most famous wreck, a 4,898-ton armed British cargo ship sunk in October 1941 by German He-111 bombers while waiting to transit the Suez Canal. The ship rests between 15 and 32 m and preserves its original wartime cargo: tanks, Norton and BSA motorcycles, trucks, rifles and railway wagons, making it incomparable for historical wreck diving.
