Shabrur Umm Gamar is the outer reef system north of Umm Gamar Island, north of Hurghada, with walls dropping from 5 to over 30 m covered by gorgonians and large soft corals. Moderate to strong currents attract whitetip reef sharks, giant barracuda and schools of yellowfin trevally.
