Shaab Ruhr Umm Gammar is the outer northern reef of Umm Gamar Island, north of Hurghada, with a wall descending from 5 to 35 m and one of the area's most challenging sites on days of strong current. The site is known for occasional hammerhead shark sightings, large whitetip sharks and giant barracuda.
