At 270 m long, Shaab Kentkana is the easternmost site of the Shaab Aluaster group, which lies 11 km north of St. John's reefs and is not part of them. Seldom visited by liveaboards, the site is mostly frequented by fishermen, as attested by a lost net at its western tip. Several coral gardens appear at intervals along Shaab Kentkana. To the south and at the eastern tip there are spacious niches and caverns that do not branch out.
