Sandy Bar is a hard coral garden on the western side of Palau's barrier reef, with shallow coverage at 5 m sloping gently to a sandy bottom at 25 m. The site harbors garden eels, stingrays and eagle rays patrolling the transition between the reef and the sandy substrate, making it an excellent introductory dive on the archipelago's outer reefs.
