Koh Phangan, Surat Thani, Thailand
Sail Rock (Hin Bai) is the emblematic Gulf of Thailand pinnacle between Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, rising 8m above the surface and dropping to 40m. Famous for the Chimney - a vertical swim-through starting at 18m and exiting at around 8m - and for reliable whale shark encounters (March to May) and schools of chevron barracuda.
