Generic mooring in the northern Ribbon Reefs, a chain of narrow reefs that rises almost vertically from the depths of the Coral Sea in the northern Great Barrier Reef, with 1,000 m walls, monolithic corals and exceptional visibility. The site is a base for liveaboards covering the 100 km stretch of Ribbon Reefs between Lizard Island and the Cod Hole region.
