Ras Mamlach has the so-called "windows", openings that lead to the blue water of the drop off. Sea urchins drop from the ceiling, and aggressive lionfish show up during decompression. The site has enormous boulders and excellent table corals. In Nuweiba, the best time to dive is usually May–June and September–November; from January to April the sea usually gets colder and chilly winds are common.
