The 250 m jetty leading to the Ras Dudi reef was finished in December 2007, and the reef was not used for diving before 2008. At the end of the jetty lies a small bay with a small cave open on two sides, good for photos. Next to the entry point, the reef wall is very steep.
The fringing reef has varied fauna and flora, and turtles, moray eels and dolphins sometimes appear. A 2016 account describes colorful, well-preserved corals and, depending on luck, dives with barracudas, turtles, stonefish and eagle rays. In 2008, the most abundant fish on the reef were the lyretail anthias and the half-and-half chromis, and branching Acropora and soft corals of the family Xeniidae dominated among the corals.
