Ras Burg means 'tower cape' in Arabic, a name that comes from a fossilized coral pinnacle that rises above the water and marks the entry point. The main attraction is a chimney with a narrow entrance, reminiscent of those at Ras Za'atar, which holds a vast number of gorgonians, sponges and soft corals. It is recommended to dive it only in small groups of at most 4 divers. To the left of the Burg, the rock formation that marks the entry, there is a huge underwater cavern that opens from the reef plate and creates beams of light.
