Maldives
Ran Thila has a gentle slope on the northeast and east sides and a drop-off on the west side, with many overhangs and caves. There are lots of colorful soft corals in the overhangs and caves, and it is a very good macro site, with nudibranchs and flatworms and, with a bit of luck, frogfish. The name uses the Dhivehi term "thila", which means an underwater pillar.
