The Raja Ampat Dive Lodge jetty, near Waisai in the Dampier Strait, is a classic macro dive with a maximum depth of 18 meters, where the pillars are covered with soft corals and host nudibranchs, seahorses, octopuses, and flamboyant cuttlefish. Calm waters and shallow depth make the site ideal for macro photographers and beginner divers. Schools of fusiliers and batfish circle the pillars, completing the biodiversity picture of the Coral Triangle.
