Maldives
The site lies on the west coast of Fuvahmulah, directly across from the island's famed black pebble beach. In the mid-water there are large schools of bigeye barracuda in hunting formation and of bigeye trevally, while curious groups of longfin batfish shelter behind the coral heads. Diving is usually better during the northeast monsoon, from December to April, when the west coast is sheltered; during the southwest monsoon the sea can make diving impossible.
