At Praia de Taquaras you can see pufferfish, small octopuses, starfish and soft corals, along with schools of sardines and parrotfish. In the corner of the beach there is a lagoon, and the stretch of sand is about one kilometre long. In Camboriú, the best time usually runs from November to March, when the water is warmer.
