Poseidon Reef is an offshore reef north of Hurghada, on the way to the Gubal Islands, with a wall descending from 5 to 30 m and good diversity of soft and hard corals. The site is known for sightings of whitetip reef sharks, large spotted moray eels and groups of stingrays resting on the sandy substrate.
