Brazil
Ponta dos Farilhões stands out for its omnivorous fish, which occur there in greater abundance and biomass than at the other sites compared. Small fish, 10 to 20 cm, and medium-sized fish, 20 to 30 cm, predominate, and the point holds the highest abundance and biomass of these size classes among those sites. Around Trindade Island, the rocky shores have an exposed basaltic framework and are dominated by turf algae.
