The natural pools of Praia de Camurupim, in Nísia Floresta, are formed by waters held back by a reef barrier that continues along the neighboring beach of Barreta, toward Pipa. At low tide, you can observe the marine life that lives on the reefs of the pools.
More than the month of the year, what usually shapes the visit is the time of the tide, since the pools are only accessible at low tide. In the Natal region, the period with less rain usually runs from September to January, with fewer cloudy days.
