Otdima Reef is strategically positioned in the center of Dampier Strait, between Gam and Kri islands, and is recognized for multidirectional and unpredictable currents caused by tidal flow that create a spectacular display of schools of snappers, sweetlips and anthias in one of Raja Ampat's most lush hard coral gardens. The variable current dynamics classify the site as advanced — recommended for divers with a minimum of 15 to 20 dives — but reward with sightings of sharks, eagle rays and occasional manta rays. Depths range from 5 to 25 meters with an atoll reef profile.
