Olhuveli Corner is in the south of Laamu Atoll. In the region, outside the two main aggregation areas, most sightings of reef manta rays (Mobula alfredi) took place on the outer reefs along the southern edge of the atoll. On this southern edge, manta sightings seem to be seasonal and increase during the northeast monsoon, although the data are still limited.
