Coron, Palawan, Philippines
The largest wreck in Coron Bay: the 160m Japanese tanker Okikawa Maru, sunk on 24 September 1944 by the American Task Force 38. The ship rests upright with the main deck between 10 and 16m and the keel at 26m, making it accessible from Open Water level. Inner passageways and holds covered in living coral are home to groupers, sweetlips and lionfish hidden in the shadows of the hull.
