El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
Isolated rock formation north of El Nido, Palawan, known as a pelagic action point with frequent sightings of barracuda, trevally, turtles, rays and occasional blacktip reef sharks. The site suffered coral damage during Typhoon Odetta in 2022 and is recovering, but pelagic life remains a draw for experienced divers seeking big animals. Depth ranges from 8 to 25m with variable currents.
