Maldives
On the house reef, just a few metres from the beach, there are baby reef sharks, nurse sharks, turtles and colourful coral. The reef rings the island and, unlike what is usual in the Maldives, comes right in to the beaches on the south shore. In the north there is a wide, shallow lagoon.
