Maldives
It is the second house reef of the Hilton Maldives Amingiri, on the lagoon barrier, in a channel south of the resort, 2 minutes by boat from the dive center. As a channel reef, it changes character with the direction and strength of the current, so every dive is different. There are colorful reef fish, clouds of glassfish and macro species such as leaf fish and stonefish among healthy hard coral formations. In the name, "faru" is the Dhivehi term for the above-water reef edge that encloses a lagoon.
