Maldives
The name comes from Dhivehi: thila means underwater pillar. Cliffs and overhangs have schools of glassfish, as well as shrimp and, sometimes, lobsters and turtles. There are also lionfish, scorpionfish and moray eels. In the southwest corner of Baa, manta rays can be seen year-round, and their numbers tend to increase in the summer months.
