Maldives
The name in Dhivehi means "giant trevally plateau". It is a feeding station for predators such as sharks, dog-tooth tuna and giant trevally, and it also has many schools of goatfish and varied snappers. In the Goidhoo, Fehendhoo and Fulhadhoo area, the dry season, from December to April, is usually the best time to visit, with sun and little rain.
