Large horseshoe-shaped reef on the Cairns Outer Reef, 47 km east of the city, famous for deep walls beyond 30 m, well-preserved hard and soft coral cover, and huge schools of jack. Three pontoon companies operate here simultaneously, and friendly Maori wrasse and blue-spotted rays are guaranteed presences — a site for all levels.
