North Ari Atoll, Maldives
Moofushi Channel, in South Ari Atoll between Moofushi island and the outer reef, is a narrow channel with strong current that concentrates pelagic species. Reef manta rays pass through the channel during the incoming current; grey reef sharks and barracudas patrol the corners. Advanced level due to intense current.
