Mexico
Deep fringing reef off Playa del Carmen, with the reef top at 24-25 meters and a 5-6 meter high wall covered with green moray eels, king crabs and lionfish. Moderate currents favor a south-to-north drift and Advanced Open Water certification is required; bull sharks are occasionally spotted in winter.
