Melissa's Garden is a legendary coral garden in the Dampier Strait, near the Fam Islands, formed by two pinnacles that emerge to the surface flanking an oval plateau covered with hard and soft corals in the most vibrant colors of Raja Ampat, with sandy bottom at 25 meters. Wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks endemic to Raja Ampat rest on the corals, while barracudas, angelfish, and large schools of anthias fill the water column. The gentle current and moderate depth make the site accessible for intermediate-level divers, whether macro or wide-angle photography enthusiasts.
