Marsa Tondoba lies directly in front of Shaab Samadai (Dolphin House), a natural dolphin nursery. Boats leave from the bay to a total of 14 dive sites.
The bay has coral formations and a school of approximately 600 barracuda, and in the middle of it there are ghost pipefish and seahorses. You will also find moray eels, eagle rays, sea turtles and tuna, among other species.
On the southern side of the bay, coral bommies and hard coral clusters line the slope, and the lagoon is used for buoyancy practice and dive courses. Diving usually takes place throughout the year, with the best light generally between 9 AM and 2 PM, and the water temperature tends to range from 22 °C in winter to 29 °C in summer.
