Manta Point (Karang Makassar) is the largest dive site in Komodo National Park, stretching for approximately 3 km of shallow reef in the center of the park. The 5–15 m platform hosts permanent cleaning stations where reef mantas (Mobula alfredi) with 3–5 m wingspans circulate in constant procession; at peak aggregation (November–March) more than 50 animals may appear in a single dive.
