The Mangrove Bay house reef, also known as Sharm Fugani, lies in a sheltered bay and can therefore be dived in almost all weather conditions. The protected bay brings together common Red Sea marine life such as fish, turtles, dolphins and rays.
The north reef has small and large blocks and a coral wall, while the south side is home to a large coral garden alternating with small plateaus and blocks. There are blocks covered with soft and hard corals, with hundreds of glass fishes.
In the El Quseir area, diving is usually possible all year round, and autumn tends to be especially recommended. March to May and September to November tend to be the best months on this coast, with water between 24 and 28 °C.
