Maaya Lagoon, in North Ari Atoll, is the calm inner lagoon near the Maaya Thila pinnacle with sandy bottom and shallow reef fauna. Stingrays, boxfish and turtles frequent the 8-15m bottom; excellent for training and photography. Weak current, beginner level.
