South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Maamigili Beyru, in South Ari Atoll alongside Maamigili island, is the outer face of the island reef with a steep wall and currents that bring whale sharks to the surface. Whale sharks are sighted regularly from November to June; reef manta rays frequent the cleaning station on the 15-25m wall. Intermediate level.
