South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Maamigili Beru, in South Ari Atoll near Maamigili island, is the southwestern outer reef of the area with a steep wall. Reef manta rays visit the outer face between February and September, and whale sharks are occasionally seen near the surface around the island. Moderate to strong current on the open face.
