Maafussaru Kandu lies at the western tip of Felidhe Atoll and is the channel between the reefs of Fussaru Falhu and Maahiththan Faru. On the northern side of the channel there is a gently sloping reef. Sailors use the pass, which is wide, to enter the Felidhoo lagoon, and the entrance is marked by a dry bank with a rock and a pole.
