In front of the Lahami Bay beach opens a wide, sheltered bay with a banana-shaped coral ridge stretching over 1.5 km. The sandy bottom slopes gently from the beach down to countless coral barriers, patches and pillars inhabited by fish.
Right at the entry point there is a seagrass meadow, where rays and turtles are frequently sighted, and the house reef has a resident turtle population. Corals, nudibranchs and, now and then, passing big fish also turn up on the reef.
