Kurumba Reef, in North Malé Atoll near the Kurumba resort — the oldest resort in the Maldives — is a coastal reef with rich walls and a sandy bottom. Whitetip reef sharks, groupers, octopuses, and turtles are the most common inhabitants. Weak current, excellent for beginners and divers in transition.
