Maldives
It is a channel with good corals and coral blocks that serve as cleaning stations, with garden eels on the sandy bottom and rays and sharks resting under the blocks. Divers also log stingrays, clownfish and moray eels at the site.
During the dive, the teams form a line and kneel on the sand, at some distance from a large coral head that is a much-visited cleaning station. On a dive in February 2025, the group saw a lionfish, anemones with anemone fish and a stellate puffer.
In Meemu Atoll, the best conditions are usually in the dry season, from December to April, with little wind, little rain and very clear water.
